I have Microsoft Office Professional Plus I had a hard drive fail and had to reinstall. The Activation Wizard no longer recognises the key.
The message says - "Sorry, this isn't a Microsoft Office Product key. You may be entering a product key from another version of Office". I have the CD and the key which I have double-checked. Even the Activation Wizard repair microsoft office 2010 professional plus free download that I have installed. Has anyone come across this. I only have a few days before this will run out. I tried telephone support who simply said the product is obselete and they can't do anything no technical support.
I dont want or need Office I am OK with no support. However, I am not happy to be locked out of software I paid for and need.
